New TOMS Shoes AT&T Commercial
Some of you may have seen the TOMS Shoes AT&T Commercial that has been playing nationwide. I have been told that tonight the latest TOMS Shoes commercial will air during American Idol.
This is huge and great exposure for TOMS to millions of people. Congrats again Blake and company for inspiring people by doing inspiring things or “doing good, by doing well” as Blake explains in the commercial.

Matt, I am sorry you think that the TOMS One for One business model this is a publicity stunt. Do you think the 140,000 kids who now have a pair of shoes would call this “publicity stunt”? What about the 300,000 kids in need that are expected to get a pair of shoes? Do you think they believe TOMS is using them to make a quick buck? Why do you look for the bad in something that is doing good?
TOMS is a for-profit company. They don’t hide that. The fact that they can make a profit AND give shoes to kids in need means they can survive without relying on individual donations like non-profits. I give TOMS a huge amount of credit for building giving into their model. I guess “naive idiots” like me will continue to support TOMS and companies like TOMS who develop sustainable companies that make the world a better place.

I want the shoes pictured in his hand when he is walking on the beach… they are black with thick white stripes across the top of the shoe. How do I find those, I have looked everywhere online?

Blake makes it look so easy! As a business owner building a company from the bottom, I want to say that it’s NOT this easy! I wonder what kind of funding Toms has… $ makes it easy.
