TOMS Shoe Fans

21 hours ago TOMS shoes twittered they were at 27k shoes sold, just 3k shy of their goal of 30k.

Help push them over this goal by buying or gifting a pair of TOMS, blogging about the cause, showing your love for TOMS, or letting everyone you know about TOMS. Or better yet, do all of the above.

I was contacted by an Ohio professional photographer and fellow TOMS Shoes Fan. He was inspired by the the TOMS Shoe Story and has decided to help out by giving away free photo sessions to other TOMS Shoes Fans.

Whatever your photo need may be you can help prevent a child from getting Podoconiosis in Ethiopia. Podoconiosis is a disease that causes feet and legs to swell, and is found in soil.

Recently I can across a site called www.tomsshoes.com. The deal with TOMS is “For every pair you purchase, TOMS will give a pair of shoes to a child in need. One of One” Pretty cool huh? There’s are over 1,000,000 people in Ethiopia that are suffering from Podoconiosis. This holiday season TOMS wants to give 30,000 pairs of shoes to children in Ethiopia.

I was blown away when I found about TOMS cause. I got to thinking and wanted to help. Starting November 21st through December 31st I’ll giving away free photo sessions (seniors photos, families, engagement session name and I’ll shoot it). The catch is every person in the photo has to be wearing a pair of TOMS.”

If you are in the Santa Monica area on Saturday and want to help out a good cause checkout the TOMS Block Party. It will be held at 3025 Olympic Blvd, Studio C from 2pm to ???. Kids are welcome up until 8pm and then starting at 9pm the bar opens. $15 to get in the door or $55 to get in plus a pair of TOMS and supplies to design your own personalized TOMS shoes.

All proceeds go towards the South Africa Shoe Drop where 50,000 pairs of TOMS shoes will be given to kids. I wish I could be there, but no can do this time. Have fun and if you go, please take pics and send them to fans@tomsshoefans.com and we will post them.
