For Tomorrow: The TOMS Shoes Story

The title of today’s blog entry is also the title of Blake Mycoskie’s documentary about TOMS Shoes.  The Los Angeles screening for this film, ”For Tomorrow: The TOMS Shoes Story”, was held on Thursday, June 5, 2008, and was attended by notable celebs such as Brittany Snow, Maggie Grace and Emilie de Ravin.

This documentary tells the story of how TOMS Shoes founder, Blake Mycoskie, traveled to Argentina and was inspired to begin his quest to help the needy children that he saw during his trip.

For every DVD that is purchased for $19.95 each, TOMS Shoes will donate a pair of shoes to a child in need.

For Tomorrow: The TOMS Shoes Story

Once again, TOMS has impressed me with their business model of giving back every time that they receive. Success is sure to be had in this type with this type of a business strategy that is actually helping others as its moves forward.

Remember, every time you purchase a pair of TOMS shoes, a pair is donated to a needy child as well. These might be great Father’s Day gift ideas. What dad can’t use a new pair of shoes along with an inspirational DVD?

Let us know if you purchase or receive this DVD. We’d like to hear your thoughts.

Happy Father’s Day to all you Dads out there.

TOMS Shoes: Argentina Shoe Drop Photos

Ladies and gentleman, if you can stop and take just four minutes from your busy lives, I believe this brief YouTube video will have a great impact your life.

If you have not yet heard of TOMS Shoes, this corporation was founded to provide shoes to children in need. Since its beginning in May 2006, TOMS Shoes has given over 10,000 pairs of shoes to children in Argentina. In addition, TOMS has also given over 50,000 to children in South Africa.

The concept is simple. For every pair you purchase, TOMS Shoes will donate a pair of shoes to a child in need.

After watching the four minute video below, I honestly want to go out and buy about 100 pairs of TOMS Shoes. Nothing is more touching than a child’s face, in my opinion. I think if you will watch this video with an open heart, you will likely be inclined to get yourself a pair of TOMS Shoes. How cool is it to know that just by buying yourself something, you are actually helping a child in need? I think that is VERY cool! Check the TOMS Shoes Story.

TOMS Shoes are available at various places including Amazon.com, Shoes.com, and of course at TOMS Shoes.
